Clarks Story
In 1980 I started my career as an apprentice linesman for the New Zealand Post Office, Construction and Maintenance branch, which later became Telecom NZ. Eight years later, I founded Online Communications, where among other roles, I manage the training of almost fifty staff, so I understand and value the impact great training has on installation outcomes.
With my history and having previously sat on the board of the Telecommunications Educational and Skills Standards Organisation (TESSO), as a member of BICSI, and as a BICSI RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer), I have experienced a wide breadth of New Zealand’s cabling infrastructure, from design, installation, and project management.
As a CIANZ committee member, I am responsible for marketing & branding and health & safety and serve the Technical Advisory Group. My dream is to see our industry well recognised and represented along with world class training across our industry. By contributing my experience and passion for the industry alongside that of my fellow committee members, I believe CIANZ can make a real difference toward improving the quality of our cabling community.
